The Workforce Relations team serves as a trusted partner to management, staff and human resource
professionals regarding questions, conflicts and issues that arise in the workplace. The Workforce
Relations team leads these services and strategies for the UCI campus and Health communities.
- Expertise in creation and interpretation of workforce policies and procedures.
- Negotiation, interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
- Consult on and conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations.
- Interpretation of key state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborative approach to deliver proactive and strategic service to the UCI community.
- Provide strategic and practical guidance on labor and employee relations issues.
- Work closely with managers and HR professionals to understand the unique needs and objectives of
each business unit.
