JULIE MYERS

Chief Executive Officer

Julie joins UCI Health – Irvine Rehabilitation Hospital with 20+ years of hospital and rehabilitation operations success, inspiring teams and boosting performance through people focused hospital administration. She is a healthcare executive with the ability to balance strategic decisions and financial discipline with a hands-on approach to leadership. Prior to joining UCI Health, Julie held CEO roles at three long-term acute care hospitals with a total of 186 beds including 25 ICU beds, leading as a diversified post-acute healthcare provider of transitional care hospitals. Julie is dedicated to increasing patient and family satisfaction, growing admissions, and reducing employee turnover while improving financials.

BARBARA TENNESON

Chief Nursing Officer

Barbara has over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership with a strong commitment to patient safety and patient and family engagement. She has nearly 10 years as an acute care Chief Nursing Officer in Orange County. Barbara brings extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and a dedication to building relationships with co-workers to ensure a culture of collaboration and shared governance.

People Services (HR) Director

Lori is a human resources and labor relations leader with over 13 years of experience in healthcare. She has a history of working closely with department leaders and co-workers to support team success, engagement, and high-quality patient care. Lori is known for building trust, helping resolve workplace concerns thoughtfully and fairly, and promoting respectful, inclusive work cultures.
