  • The Bren Events Center is located at 100 Mesa Road, Irvine, CA 92697
  • Please park at the Mesa parking structure, adjacent to the Bren
  • Parking for this event is complimentary, but you must register your vehicle by June 15 at 11:59 p.m. using UCI’s Park-by-Plate Application. Use code USSA@UCI.
  • FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM UCI HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER IN ORANGE
    SHUTTLES DEPART FROM BUILDING 53 – IN FRONT OF THE AUDITORIUM at 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. The shuttles will leave the Bren at 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to return to the medical center. Space is first come, first served.
  • The Chancellor’s Cabinet, the UCI Health CEO Cabinet, Provost’s Cabinet and Deans, and UCI Health Community Network CEOs and C-suite leadership have been invited to attend as members of the platform party
  • Service honorees will receive invitations via email
  • Honorees may bring their guests to the honoree reception from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.; food is available while supplies last
  • 2026 honoree lapel pins will be distributed at the event
  • Service gifts will be distributed separately from this event
  • Staff celebrating 1 year with UCI or UCI Health between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 will be invited to a special pre-event celebration (invitation only)
  • Staff who are also UCI alumni are invited to visit the Alumni table at the honoree reception for a free gift
  • The event will be filmed and photographed; all persons attending this event, both outside and inside the Bren Events Center, consent to having their likeness used in promotional materials that may be created from the film footage and still photography captured during the event
  • Your RSVP is requested for our approximation of attendance but is not required for you to attend this event
  • The Bren Events Center security team will conduct bag searches and require all persons to proceed through metal detection devices as a condition for entering the Bren

WHO MAY ATTEND?

Honorees
A Service Awards honoree is a staff member (also called co-worker at UCI Health) who has achieved 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 or 45 years of service credit during the current fiscal year (July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026). A list of 2026 honorees can be found here. Service Credit accrual and eligibility information can be found here.

All 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 year honorees will be seated on the floor of the Bren arena and will cross the stage, have their name read aloud, and have a commemorative photo taken.

3 and 5 year service honorees, as well as 1 year anniversary celebrants, will be seated in special sections in the Bren, closest to the floor, and will be acknowledged as groups during the ceremony.

Guests of Honorees
Honorees are welcome to invite guests to attend. Guests may include non-UCI friends and family members. RSVPs are not required but are requested to allow us to get an estimated attendance count for planning, including food ordering.

UCI Leadership
All UCI leadership is invited and encouraged to attend, including supervisors and managers of honorees.

UCI Staff & UCI Health Co-Workers
All UCI employees, including faculty and staff, and all UCI Health co-workers, are invited to attend the Service Awards to celebrate this year’s honorees. Staff co-workers who are scheduled to work the morning of the event must obtain manager/supervisor approval in advance to ensure operational needs are met. We hope you can attend this event to cheer on your co-workers and friends!
