UCI Human Resources | Campus Human Resources - Compensation and Classification

Compensation and Classification covers salary administration, classification of positions, and application of overtime rules (FLSA). Working with the HR Business Partners, the Compensation Analysts provide consulting services to local HR and management. Compensation Analysts:

Interpret and advise on Compensation and Classification policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with UC policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements
Conduct equity analysis and review additional employment options such as Dual Employment and Administrative Stipends
Classify and reclassify positions, advising how classification decisions may impact the department
Conduct formal and informal job reviews
Review job offer requests
Review job descriptions and suggest recommendations as appropriate
