EFFECTIVE VIRTUAL AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION

Karen Sobel-Lojeski, founder of Virtual Distance International, identified three types of distance amongst groups who heavily use digital communication – physical, operational, and affinity distance.

An operational distance is caused by the types of electronics tools we use to communicate, as well as each individual’s ability to use the tool. Close the operational gap and start communicating more effectively.

If your group uses Microsoft Teams, take the opportunity to become proficient with the tool, and create a more effective collaborative environment.
